SPECIAL NEEDS ACCESS TICKETS
Special Needs guests who wish to attend #HF2019 are provided with a complimentary “carer” ticket. Customers wishing to attend the festival must purchase their own relevant ticket and then apply for a PA / Care ticket.
How to apply for a PA ticket at no additional cost
Please do not buy a ticket for your personal assistant (PA) – this must be applied for by completing our Access Requirement Form. Please buy your ticket first and then you will need to apply for access to disabled customer facilities and/or a Personal Assistant (PA) Ticket at no additional cost.
Please note, in some cases you will need to supply supporting documentation for your application to be approved.
Our Access Scheme allows you to apply for the following facilities:
- Accessible Car parking or Drop off pass.
- PA(Personal Assistant) ticket – (at no additional cost)
- Accessible toilet facilities
It is mandatory to provide one of the following forms of supporting documentation in your application as evidence of your requirements and to grant a PA ticket, please include one of the following with your completed form:
- Disability Allowance letter
- Letter from a medical professional
- D/deaf or blind registration
- Blue Badge –permitted for parking only requests
Please note any submitted documents are securely destroyed.
ACCESS REQUIREMENT FORM
We ask that customers apply for particular facilities including accessible toilets, viewing platforms, accessible parking passes and drop off passes to ensure that we have the correct level of facilities.
PLEASE NOTE Applications will close 2 weeks before the festival, though we will endeavour to process any late requests.
The PA ticket is provided on the expectation that your PA is willing and able to assist you throughout your visit, and would be available and able to help you in the event of an evacuation.

FACILITIES AT THE FESTIVAL
DISABLED ACCESS TOILETS
Disabled Access toilets will be situated at the main ablution facility next to the main bar on the picnic field. All toilet locations will be noted in the Access Guide.
We always strive for the highest standards, and employ cleaners as well as servicing companies who are on duty throughout the event. However if you find a toilet in an unsatisfactory condition please inform a member of the access team or a member of our crowd management personnel who are easily identifiable by their numbered tabards.
While we actively discourage non-disabled customers from using these facilities not all of the toilets are locked or guarded the entire time. We respectfully ask personal assistants with disabled customers not to use the accessible toilets.

TRAVEL & PARKING
We have a dedicated access car park which is located close to the main entrance and the access check in. Parking at this event is limited and is only permitted with the pre-approved Parking Pass provided by the Access Team. Please note there is no charge for Accessible parking, Blue Badge holders must apply in advance for accessible parking.
You will also be sent a print at home Access Guide in the week leading up to the event detailing event arrival, updated information and site map showing the accessible facilities. This will also be available on the festival website.
Please note that our access customer facilities cannot cater for people with temporary impairments such as broken bones, recent injuries and pregnant women. The facilities are for the specific use of access customers and we kindly ask that you please respect this.
Medical and Welfare
Medical and welfare facilities are available to everyone.
There will be signed First Aid points located across the festival site.
If you are bringing medication to the festival we recommend bringing a doctor’s note/prescription, also please let security know about your medication prior to bag searches. You can also use the medical tents if you need privacy to take your medication.
I HAVE APPLIED, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
We will process your application within 4 weeks of receiving your form and any supporting documentation. We will send your confirmation letter by email once your application has been approved. Your confirmation letter will detail the facilities that you have requested access to and will confirm your PA ticket if you have applied for one.
This confirmation letter is also in lieu of a PA ticket and must be printed off and brought with you as proof.
You will also be sent an Access Guide in the week leading up to the event detailing event arrival, updated information and site map showing the Disabled Access facilities.
If you have applied for and been approved a car parking pass you will receive this at the same time. Car passes are uniquely coded to the purchaser and must be printed off and placed in your vehicle with all the required details filled in.
